^ORDINANCE NO.1768
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS,ACCEPTING THEBID OF AMERICAN BRISTOL INDUSTRIES,
INC.FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE COMPRESSION AND PURIFICATION
UNIT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT
BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED
SEVENTEEN AND 45/100 ($5,617.45)DOLLARS.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas,did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City
of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of one
compression and purfication unit forthe Fire Department to be
received March 5,1975;and
WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place,
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the
City of Baytown;and
WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 10:30 a.m.,Wednesday,March 5,1975,as per published
notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE,
BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas,hereby accepts the bid of American Bristol Industries,Inc.
for the purchase of one compression and purification unit for the
Fire Department forthe sum of Five Thousand Six Hundred Seventeen
and 45/100 ($5,617.45)Dollars on a delivery date of thirty (30)
days and authorizes payment of the sum of Five Thousand Six Hundred
Seventeen and45/100 ($5,617.45)Dollars.
INTRODUCED,READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this13th day of March
1975.
