AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF EDELMAN'S FOR THE PURCHASE OF ESTIMATED
QUANTITIES OF POLICE UNIFORMS ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS,WITH THE
COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO BE BASED UPON THE ACTUALQUANTITIES
SUPPLIED AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,did authorize
the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for
the purchase of estimated quantities of police uniforms on a unit price basis
to be received October 31,1974;and
WHEREAS,notice to bidders asto the time and place,when and where the
contract would be letwas published pursuant to provisions of Section 74of
the Charter of the City of Baytown;and
WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly readat City Hall at 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday,October 31,1974,as per published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE,
BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,hereby
accepts the bid of Edelman's forthe purchase of police uniforms in accordance
with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows:
