AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF HYCO EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE CRAWLER
DOZER AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THECITY OF THE SUM OF TWENTY
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT AND NO/100 ($20,598.00)DOLLARS.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City ofBaytown,Texas,did authorize
the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for
the purchase of one crawler dozer to be received October 18,1974;and
WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place,when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of
the Charter of the City of Baytown;and
WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:30 a.m.,
Friday,October 18,1974,as per published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,hereby
accepts the bidof Hyco Equipment forthe purchase of one crawler dozer for
the sum of Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Eight and No/100 ($20,598.00)
Dollars on a delivery date of forty-five (45)days and authorizes payment of
thesumof Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Eight and No/100 ($20,598.00)
Dollars.
INTRODUCED,READand PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council
on this 24th day of Ortnhpr ,1974.
