AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,PRO
HIBITING RIGHT TURNS ONTO WEST TEXAS AVENUE FROM WHITING STREET IN
THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,HARRIS COUNTY,TEXAS,ON STEADY RED SIGNALS;
PROVIDING A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF TWO HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($200.00)
DOLLARS FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF;ANDPROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,does
hereby prohibit right turns onto West Texas Avenue from Whiting Street in
^the City of Baytown,Harris County,Texas,on steady red signals.
Section 2:The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to
cause the propernotice to be posted at the above described location.
Section 3:Any person violating the provisionsof this ordinance shall
be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred and No/100 ($200.00)Dollars,
and each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effectfrom and
after ten (10)daysfrom its passage by the City Council.TheCity Clerk is
hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing publication of the caption of
this ordinancewithin ten (10)days after its passage.

of the City of Baytown,on this 12th dayof September ,1974.
