ORDINANCE NO.1662
AN ORDINANCE OFTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFBAYTOWN,TEXAS,ACCEPTING
THE BID OF BAYTOWN INDUSTRIALS CORPORATION TO PROVIDE THE LABOR FOR IN
STALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE WEST STERLING STREET AND DECKER DRIVE
INTERSECTION AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND
NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN AND84/100 ($1,957.84)DOLLARS WITH REGARD TO SUCH
ACCEPTANCE.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,did authorize the
Inspection Department for the Cityof Baytown to advertise for bids to provide
the labor for installation of traffic signalsat the WestSterling Street and
Decker Drive intersection tobe received August 20,1974;and
WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place,when and where the
contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the
Charter of the Cityof Baytown;and
WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:30 a.m.,
Tuesday,August 20,1974,as per published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,hereby
accepts the bid of Baytown Industrials Corporation to provide the labor for the
installation of traffic signals at the West Sterling Street and Decker Drive
intersection for the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Seven and 84/100
($1,957.84)Dollars and authorizes payment of the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred
Fifty-Seven and 84/100 ($1,957.84)Dollars in this regard.
