AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE,TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE PROPOSED DISANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN,TEXAS;AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUB
LISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING AND PROVIDING FORTHE EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1:On the 24th day of January ,1974,at 7:00
o'clock p.m.in the City Council Chamber ofthe City Hall of the City of
Baytown,Texas,the City Council will hold a public hearing giving allin
terested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed disannexation
by the City of Baytown,Texas,of the following described property,to-wit:
Disannexation of the 0.6acres of the 3.6 acres annexed by the City of
Baytown December 14,1972.
Said 0.6 acres being describedmore fully as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwestern corner of said 3.6 acre tract,
THENCE,north 89°34'east,along the City Limit Line of the City of
Baytown,a distance of 60.40 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE,south 00°26'east,a distance of432.74 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE,south 89°34'west,a distance of 60.40 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE,north 00°26'west,a distance of 432.74 feet to the Point of
Beginning.
Section 2:The City Clerk of the Cityof Baytown is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a news
paper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory
not more than twenty (20)days nor less than ten (10)days prior tothe date of
such public hearing.
Section 3:This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage
by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
