AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
PROHIBITING RIGHT TURNS ONTO MARKETSTREET FROM WISCONSIN STREET
IN THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,HARRIS COUNTY,TEXAS,ON STEADY RED SIGNALS,
PROVIDING A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF,AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,does hereby
prohibit riqhtturns onto Market Street from Wisconsin Street in the City of Baytown,
Harris County,Texas,on steady redsignals.
Section 2:The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to cause
the proper notice to be posted at the above described locations.
Section 3:Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be
punished by a fine ofnot more than Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars,and each vio
lation shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effectfrom and after
ten (10)days after its passage by the CityCouncil.The City Clerk is hereby
directed to give notice hereof by causing publication of the caption of this or
dinance within ten (10)days after its passage.
