Ordinance No. 1,515ORDINANCE NO.1515 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,ACCEPTING THE BIDOF LUMUS BAYTOWN DODGE FOR THE PURCHASE OF ELEVEN POLICEPATROL VEHICLES,CITY OF BAYTOWN BID NO.7311-10,AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FOUR AND 63/100 ($35,104.63)DOLLARS WITH REGARD TO SUCH ACCEPTANCE. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,did authorize the Purchasing Department of the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of police patrol vehicles to be received November 28,1973;and WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place,when and where the con tract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown;and WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday,November 28,1973 as per published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,hereby accepts the bid of Lumus Baytown Dodge for the purchase of eleven police patrol vehicles as follows: DESCRIPTION UNIT PRICE TOTAL 8 special paint $3,201.33 $25,610.64 3 regular paint 3,161.33 9,483.99 1 shop manual 10.00 IQ.qq $35,104.63 on a delivery date of sixty-five (65)to ninety-five (95)calendar days and au thorizes the payment of the sum of Thirty-Five Thousand One Hundred Fourand 63/100 ($35,104.63)Dollars in this regard.
