AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS DURING CONSTRUCTION ON PARK FROM AIR-
HART TO BAYWAY,PROVIDING FOR A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF TWO HUNDRED
AND NO/100 ($200.00)DOLLARS AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
ANDEFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That a construction speed zone of 30 miles per hour be es
tablished on Parkfrom Airhart to Bayway during construction.
Section 2:The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to cause
(the proper signs to be posted.
Section 3:Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shallbe
punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars,and each viola
tion shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effect from and after
ten (10)days after its passage by the City Council.The City Clerk is hereby
directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be
published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within
ten (10)days after its passage.
