AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF 0.035 ACRES,MORE OR LESS,ON MASSEY-
TOMPKINS ROAD FOR RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES FROM JOHN F.DECELL,
JR.ET UX,MAY E.DECELL,AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO JOHN F.
DECELL,JR.ET UX,MAY E.DECELL BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN FOR
THE SUM OF EIGHT HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($800.00)DOLLARS AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That the City Council of the Cityof Baytown hereby authorizes
jpk the purchase of 0.035 acres,more or less,for right of way purposes to improve
Massey-Tompkins Road in Baytown,Harris County,Texas,said property being
described as follows,to-wit:
BEING a parcel or tract of land out of the James W.Singleton Survey,A-709,
City of Baytown,Harris County,Texas,being a part of that certain tract of
land conveyed to Lovenia H.Faught by deed recorded in Volume 6613,at Page
110 of the Deed Records of Harris County,Texas;and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of the above mentioned Faught tract,
said point being located in the existing North right-of-way line of
Massey-Tompkins Road;
THENCE,North 81°13'18"East with the existing North right-of-way line
of Massey-Tompkins Road a distance of 103.75 feet tothe Southeast corner
of the Faughttract;
^THENCE,North r25'32"West with the East line of the Faughttract a dis-
r tance of 10.08 feet;
THENCE,South 86°25'20"West over and across the Faught tract a distance
of 102.97 feet to the West line of the Faught tract;'
THENCE,South r25'32"East with the West line of the Faught tract a
distance of 19.49 feet to the POINT OFBEGINNING,enclosing a tract of
land containing 1,521.380 square feet,or 0.035 acres.
and authorizes payment to John F.DeCell,Jr.et ux,May E.DeCell,of the
sum of Eight Hundred and No/100 ($800.00)Dollars.
Section 2:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
