AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
RESTRICTING THE TURNING MOVEMENT OF RIGHT ON RED AT CERTAIN DE
SIGNATED INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITYOF BAYTOWN,PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF,AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUB
LICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,upon rec-
comendation by the Council Traffic^Committee,does hereby authorize the restriction
of the turning movement of right onred on the following named streets,highways,
or parts thereof described as follows:
South bound on Highway 146 at Texas Avenue
North bound on Highway 146 at Texas Avenue
South bound on Highway 146at James Avenue
North bound on Highway 146 at James Avenue
South bound on Highway 146at Fayle Street
North bound on Highway 146 at Fayle Street
South bound on Highway 146 at Ward Road
North bound on Highway 146at Ward Road
West bound on Defee at North Main Street
East bound on Defee at North Main Street
North bound on Decker at Garth Road
South bound on Elvinta at Highway 146
North bound on Elvinta at Highway 146
North bound on Decker at Baker Road
West bound on Midway at North Main Street
East bound on Harold at North Main Street
East bound on Cedar Bayou at Highway 146
Section 2:The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to cause
the proper signs tobe posted at the above described locations.
Section 3:Anyperson violating the provisions of this ordinance shall
be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars,and each
violation shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effect from and
after ten (10)days after its passage by the City Council.The City Clerk is
hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance
within ten (10)days after its passage.
