AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF GLIDDEN- DURKEE FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC
PAINT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND
SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY AND NO /100 ($3,720.00) DOLLARS WITH REGARD
TO SUCH ACCEPTANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the
Purchasing Department of the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase
of traffic paint to be received April 6, 1973; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the con-
tract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter
of the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:15 a.m.,
Friday, April 6, 1973, as per the published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby
accepts the bid of Glidden - Durkee for the purchase of traffic paint according to
the plans and specifications set forth by the Purchasing Department, City of
Baytown Bid No. 734 -21 and authorizes the payment by the City of a sum of Three
Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty and No /100 ($3,720.00) Dollars.
