AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A PERMANENT EASEMENT 20 FEET IN WIDTH
AND A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT 30 FEET IN WIDTH OVER AND
ACROSS A CERTAIN 14.24 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY M. C. BRAY,
TRUSTEE, AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO M. C. BRAY, TRUSTEE, BY
THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, OF THE SUM OF FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED
EIGHTY -FIVE AND 40/100 ($4,385.40) DOLLARS, AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby authorizes
the purchase of a permanent easement 20 feet in width and a temporary construction
easement 30 feet in width over and across a 14.24 acre tract of land owned by M. C.
Bray, Trustee, being particularly described as follows, to -wit:
BEING a permanent easement 20 feet in width and a temporary construction easement
30 feet in width said construction easement lying parallel to and wholly on the
Easterly side of the aforementioned permanent easement; said easements being over
and across that certain 14.24 acre tract of land conveyed to M. C. Bray, trustee,
by deed recorded in Volume 4430 at Page 288 of the Harris County Deed Records,
Harris County, Texas; said tract being out of the Harvey Whiting Survey, A -840;
said twenty foot permanent utility easement being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at the point of intersection of the West line of the aforementioned
Bray, et al, tract with the North rigth -of -way line of Decker Drive; said point
of intersection also being the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE, North 16 degrees, 30 minutes, 08 seconds East with the West line of the
said Bray tract, a distance of 209.49 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 01 degree, 22 minutes, 33 seconds West with the West line of the
above mentioned Bray tract a distance of 450.00 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE, North 23 degrees, 06 minutes, 01 second East a distance of 54.50 feet to
a point for a corner;
THENCE, North 07 degrees, 55 minutes West a distance of 198.45 feet to a point
for a corner; said point being located in the West property line of the M. C.
Bray tract;
THENCE, North 01 degree, 22 minutes, 33 seconds West a distance of 148.45 feet
to a point for a corner; said point being the northwest corner of the afore-
mentioned M. C. Bray tract;
THENCE, North 88 degrees, 37 minutes, 27 seconds East a distance of 20.00 feet
with the North line of the aforementioned M. C. Bray tract to a point for a
corner;
THENCE, South 01 degree, 22 minutes, 33 seconds East a distance of 147.31 feet
to a point for a corner;
THENCE, South 07 degrees, 55 minutes East a distance of 202.81 feet to a point
for a corner;
THENCE, South 23 degrees, 06 minutes, 01 second West a distance of 55.71 feet
to a point for a corner;
THENCE, South 01 degree, 22 minutes, 33 seconds East a distance of 448.80 feet
to a point for a corner;
THENCE, South 16 degrees, 30 minutes, 08 seconds West a distance of 227.24 feet
to a point in the north right -of -way line of Decker Drive;
THENCE, North 37 degrees, 21 minutes, 33 seconds West a distance of 24.76 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING, enclosing a tract of land containing 0.4919 acres
more or ess.
and authorizes payment to M. C. Bray, Trustee, by the City of Baytown of the sum
of Four Thousand Three Hundred Eighty -Five and 40/100 ($4,385.40) Dollars.
