Ordinance No. 1,369ORDINANCE NO. 1369 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, DECLARING THAT AN EMERGENCY SITUATION EXISTS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF EXXON COMPANY, U.S.A. TO FURNISH GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL TO THE CITY OF BAYTOWN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF FORTY -NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY -TWO AND 50 1100 ($49,962.50) DOLLARS WITH REGARD TO SUCH ACCEPTANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby declares that an emergency situation exists. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Exxon Company, U.S.A. to furnish gasoline and diesel fuel to the City of Baytown for a period of one year and authorizes the payment by the City of a sum of Forty -Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty -Two and 50/100 ($49,962.50) Dollars. The award of this bid is conditioned upon the speci- fications and delivery set forth in the specifications of the City of Baytown, Bid No. 732 -17. INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this 22nd day of February 1973. C.
