Ordinance No. 1,265ORDINANCE NO. 1265 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO LICENSED AGREEMENTS FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE CITY'S WATERMAINS THROUGH THE EXISTING RIGHT -OF -WRY OF MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Baytown is desirous of extending and improving its present watermain pipelines; and WHEREAS, said extension requires the City to cross the existing right- of -way of the Missouri Pacific Railroad; and WHEREAS, the Missouri Pacific Railroad has tendered licensed agreements to the City thereby authorizing the City to cross its right -of -way and further providing for a payment of One Hundred and No /100 ($100.00) Dollars fee per license; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Baytown are hereby authorized to enter into licensed agreements with Missouri Pacific Railroad for the crossing of their existing right -of -way with sixteen (16 ") inch watermains. The locations of said crossings being described in the licensed agreements as follows: 1722' and 2906' east respectively of Mile Post 27 at Baytown, Harris County, Texas. Section 2: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
