Ordinance No. 1,255ORDINANCE NO. 1255 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE STREET DEDICATION IN BAY VILLA SUBDIVISION BY BAY VILLA CORPORATION AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the roads in Bay Villa Subdivision have never been formally accepted by the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, the roads do not conform with the City of Baytown's Subdi- vision Ordinance insofar as minimum width is concerned; and WHEREAS, the subdivision was subdivided many years ago prior to the Subdivision Ordinance, the consensus of the Public Works Department and the Planning Department is that additional right -of -way is not necessary and need not be acquired; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORADINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City of Baytown formally accepts the street de- dication from the Bay Villa Corporation, a Texas corporation having its offices at Baytown, Harris County, Texas, being the owner of the streets in Bay Villa Subdivision in Baytown, Harris County, Texas, said streets being shown on the map or plat of Bay Villa Subdivision, Harris County, Texas; said map or plat being filed in Volume 11, Page 50 of the map records of Harris County, Texas, said streets are now hereby accepted by the said, City of Baytown and forever dedicated for public use to be used as streets. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council.
