Ordinance No. 1,252ORDINANCE NO. 1252 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A PERMANENT EASEMENT 20 FEET IN WIDTH AND A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT 30 FEET IN WIDTH OVER AND ACROSS A 10.0 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY THE GOOSE CREEK MASONIC CORPORATION; AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE GOOSE CREEK MASONIC CORPORATION BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY -TWO AND 84/100 ($1,152.84) DOLLARS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby approves the appraisal of Otis Graham, Realtor in the amount of One Thousand One Hundred Fifty -Two and 84/100 ($1,152.84) Dollars. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby au- thorizes the purchase of a permanent easement 20 feet in width and a temporary construction easement 30 feet in width over and across a 10.0 acre tract of land owned by the Goose Creek Masonic Corporation being particularly described as follows, to -wit: BEING a permanent easement 20 feet in width and a temporary construction easement 30 feet in width; said construction easement being 15 feet in width on each side of the aforementioned 20 foot wide permanent easement; said easements being over and across that certain 10.0 acre tract conveyed by C. J. Bailey and B. A. Stewart to the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge by deed recorded in Volume 2747 at Page 229 of the Harris County Deed Records, Harris County, Texas, being out of the Harvey Whiting Survey A -840; centerline of said easements being the South and East lines of an existing easement conveyed to the City of Baytown by the Goose Creek Masonic Building Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 3620 at Page 250 of the Harris County Deed Records, Harris County, Texas. and authorizes payment to the Goose Creek Masonic Corporation by the City of Baytown of the sum of One Thousand One Hundred Fifty -Two and 84/100 ($1,152.84) Dollars.
