AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN TO
APPROPRIATE FORTY -SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY -ONE
THOUSAND AND N0/100 ($46,271.003 DOLLARS FROM THE UNAP-
PROPRIATED SURPLUS, WATER FUND TO BUDGET CLASSIFICATION
NO. 1002 -9 -3.
WHEREAS, the City's 1969 -1970 water revenues exceeded the
estimated revenue contained in the budget for such fiscal year by the sum
of $46,271.00; and
WHEREAS, the City presently has contracts outstanding for
the construction of certain sewer mains; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate the above
mentioned sum and to transfer the same to a budgeted classification so
as to provide funds for such construction contracts; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown,
Texas, is hereby authorized to appropriate the sum of FORTY -SIX THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY --ONE THOUSAND AND NO /100 ($46,271.00) DOLLARS
from the Unappropriated Surplus, Water Fund to the following budget
classification, to -wit:
Account No. 1002 -9 -3 "Capital Outlay, Sanitary Sewers" $46,271.00
