Ordinance No. 949ORDINANCE NO. 949 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, CORRECTING AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 908 ENACTED BY IT ON JANUARY 25, 1968, BY AMENDING SECTION 3 THEREOF; PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; AND PRO- VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, on January 25, 1968, enacted an ordinance by which there were levied special assessments against properties abutting upon the herein- after defined and described portion of Ward Road within said City; and WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of said City Council to correct, amend and change Section 3 of said ordinance for the purpose of correcting certain irregularities, informalities and discrepancies in the descriptions of certain of said abutting prop- erties and the listing of the names of the apparent owners thereof and certain other particulars appearing in said section of said ordinance: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: SECTION 1: That said Ordinance No. 908 enacted on January 25, 1968, be and the same is, hereby corrected, amended and changed so that hereafter the property owners` assessment roll, as it appears in Section 3 thereof, shall be and read as follows, to -wit: OD C\ M c c- cl, 0 C7-* rD (7) O. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its passage by a majority of the City Council of the City of Baytown.
