KENTUCKY STREET IN THE CITY OF BAYTO1vJN; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THAT THE SUI"". OF TEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY -
FIVE AND 65/100 ($10,165.65) DOLLARS BE PAID TO THE CON-
TRACTOR PERFORMING SAID 1,iORK AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECT-
IVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE
BE IT OK, AINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTO`4N:
Section 1: That the work of improving New Jersey Street from the North right
of way line of ,iissouri Street to the South right of way line of Kentucky Street,
within the City- of Baytown, by the removal of existing and construction of concrete
curb and gutter and other incidentals as deemed necessary by the City Engineer, and
as provided for in the Plans and Specifications therefor which have heretofore been
prepared by the City Engineer and as have been approved and ad. opted by the City Coun-
cil, have been performed and completed in full compliance with the terms and, provisions
of the contract dated August 28, 1963 between said City of Baytown and Brown and Root,
Inc,, and having found that such improvements have been constructed and completed in
full compliance with all provisions of said contract same are hereby accepted and re-
ceived by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
Section 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to issue to
Brown & Root, Inc. a check: in the sum of Ten Thousand One Hundred Sixty -Five and 65%100
($10,165.65) Dollars for the purposes here below stated:
Removing existing curb and gutter,
miscellaneous concrete and masonry $ 1,579.40
Concrete curb and gutter 7,357.30
41, Concrete sidewalk & driveway 728.9,5.-_-

Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its pas -
sage by a rajority of the City Council of the City of Baytown.
