Ordinance No. 674674 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE BALANCE OF THE PRESENT FISCAL YEAR WHICH BEGAN DECEMBER 1, 1962, AND ENDS SEPTEMBER 30, 1963, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAY- - TOWN; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the boundaries of the City of Baytown were extended by formal annexation of additional areas, and certain revenues are to be received from these areas not previously anticipated, and certain addi- tional expenditures are to be made to service facilities and patrons within these annexed areas to the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received the City Manager's estimate of additional revenues and expenditures because of formal annexation; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Council that the Supplementary Budget, as filed, should be approved and adopted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the sum of THIRTY -FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY -FOUR AND NO /100 ($35,774.00) DOLLARS is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund for the payment of additional operating expenses and capital outlay of the City Government as hereinafter itemized, to -wit: General Government Public Safety Highways and Roadways Waste Removal TOTAL $ 10,037,00 11,512.00 12,225.00 2,000.00 $ 35,774.00 Section 2: That the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND THREE HUND- RED SIXTY -FIVE AND NO /100 ($105,365.00) DOLLARS is hereby appropriated out of the Water & Sewer Works for the additional operating expenses and capital outlay of the municipally owned Water G Sewer Works as herein- after itemized, to -wit: Supply $ 34,400.00 Transmission & Distribution 25,052.00 Customer Acctg. & Collecting 6,383.00 Stores 1,450.00 Sewers & Sewage Disposal 38 080.00 TOTAL X105,365.00_ Section 3: That the sum of ONE HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY -THREE AND NO 1100 ($107,933.00) DOLLARS is hereby appropriated out of the General Obligation Interest and Sinking Fund for the purpose of paying the additional accruing interest and redeeming the serial bonds as I they mature on the General Debt Service Bonds as hereinafter itemized, to -wit: Serial Bond Maturities Interest Payment' Exchange Bond Reserve Fund TOTAL $ 15,000.00 65,366.00 220.00 -27,347-00 W7s3. 00 BEAD, ADOPTED and APPROVED by a majority of the City Council at a regular meeting held at the City Hall in the City of Baytown on this the 14th day of March, 1963.
