Ordinance No. 659• ORDINANCE N0, 659 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE, TO -WIT: "AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR GREATER STREET NAME UNIFORMITY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF ", BEING ORDINANCE NO. 656, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN ON THE 23RD DAY OF AUGUST, 1962, BY AMENDING SECTIONS ONE (1) AND TWO (2) THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, on the 23rd day of August, 1562, changed the names of certain streets as set forth in Ordinance No. 656 of even date; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after due consideration and study, has decided that certain streets should bear the same names as they bore before the passage of such ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That Sections One (1) and Two (2) of said Ordinance Number 656, dated August 23, 1962, are hereby expressly repealed and the streets` names affected by such ordinance are hereby changed and shall hereafter be named and known by the respective names they bore before passage of such Ordinance No. 656. Section 2• That all the remaining provisions of said Ordinance Number 656, changing the names of certain other streets are hereby continued in full force and effect. Section 3: Effective Date: That this ordinance shall take effect im- mediately upon its passage by the City Council.
