Z z1Z AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE, TO -WIT: "AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING A FEE FOR SANITARY SEWER SER- VICE AND PROVIDING FOR A METHOD OF CHARGING AND COLLECTING SUCH FEE; REPEALING ORDINANCES INCON- SISTENT HEREWITH; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF ", BEING ORDINANCE NO. 632 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN ON THE 14TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1%1, BY AMENDING SECTION ONE (1) THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. ® BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That Section 1 of said Ordinance No. 632 shall be amended to read as follows: Section 1: Residential consumers consisting of one dwelling unit shall be charged for and shall pay for such service according to the fol- lowing schedule, to -wit: One Family Dwelling: $1.00 per unit per i month. Commercial consumers shall be charged for and shall pay for such service based on the amount of water metered to such consumer according to the following schedule, to -wit: First 12,000 Gallons used per month $1.00 per month. Each 4,000 Gallons thereafter 0 .25t per 4,000 Gallons, not to exceed: $5.00 per month. Section 2: That all the terms and provisions of the said Ordinance No. 632, passed by the City Council of the City of Baytown on the 14th day of September, 1961, are hereby continued in full force and.effect and any person violating any of the terms of the said ordinance shall be subject to the penalties provided therein. Section 3: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by a majority of the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
