AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, "AN ORDINANCE ]REFINING THE FIRE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
® HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND CONTAINING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE Tim' ", BEING ORDINANCE NO. 71 PASSED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN ON THE 19TH DAY
OF JANUARY 1950, BY ADDING TO SECTION 3 THEREOF AN ADDITIONAL
TRACT OF LAND WHICH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AND KNOWN AS A
PCRT ION OF FIRE LIMIT AREA CR ZONE NO. 2 OF THE' CITY OF
BAYTt7WN; REPEALIING IMDINANCE IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR A W IMUM PENALTY OF TWO
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($000.00); AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1. THAT Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 71 shall be amended
by adding thereto sub- section "(d)" so as to include additional territory
to the City of Baytown Fire Limit or Area No. 2, as follows, to -wit:
"(d)" Beginning at a point on the North right- of-way of
Highway 146 and Southeast corner of Lot 6 Block 2
• Danubina Courts.
Thence 1001 in a Westerly direction to a point referred
to as the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 2 Danubina
Courts.
Thence in a Northerly direction with a line which is
located a distance of 1001 West and parallel to said
West right- of-way line of Highway 146 to the South
right -of -Wy line of East Fayle Street for a corner,
this being the Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 6,
J. B. Wright addition.
Thence continuing in a easterly direction 1001 along
and parallel with said East Fayle Street to a point on
the North line of Tract 46 of Wm. Scott 65
Thence in a Southerly direction with a line which is
located a distance of 1001 East and parallel to said East
right -of -way line of Highway 146 to a North line of Block
8 Danubina Courts. No. 2.
• Thence in a Westerly direction a distance of 1001 along
Block 8 of Danubina Courts No. 2 and continuing in a Westerly
direction across said Highway 146 to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. Repealing Clause. All ordinance or parts of ordinances
incontistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided,
however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency,
and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordi-
nances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance.
Section 3: Savings Clause. If any provision, exception, section, sub-
section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the
application of same to any person or set of circumstances shall for any
• reason be held unconstitutional, void, or invalid, such invalidity shall not
affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their
application to other persons or sets of circgmstances and to this end, all
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.

Section 4.
Penalty, Any person, firm,
association or corporation,
or any employee,
eervant, or agent thereof,
who shall violate any provision
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred dollard ($200.00).
Each day's v &olation shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 5: Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect from and
after ten days (10) from its passage by the City Council. The 6ity Clerk
is hereby directed to give notice hereof causing the caption of this ordi-
nance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown
at least twice within ten (10) days after the passage of this ordinance.
