' # AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAMES OF FOUR (L) PUBLIC THOROUGH- FARES WITHIN THE CITY OF BAYTOM SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR GREATER STREET -NAME UNIFORMITY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: SECTION l: THAT the three -block length of street in West Baytown known as "Main Street" is hereby changed to and shall hereafter be named and known as "Harbor Avenue." SECTION 2: THAT the public thoroughfare known as "Spur 201" which is situated on the west bank of Goose Creek Stream and south of tiles t Main Street is hereby changed to and shall hereafter be named and known as "Douglas Drive." SECTION 3: THAT the public thoroughfare known as "Causeway Road" which is located between the intersection of Lee Drive with West Main and State Highway 146 is hereby changed to and shall hereafter be named and known as 'Lee Drive." SECTION 4: THAT the public thoroughfare known as "Dayton Street's is hereby changed to and shall hereafter be named and known as "Lynchburg Road ". SECTION 5: Effective Date. THAT this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the affirmative vote of a majority of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this 29th day of April, 1954.
