Ordinance No. 128• Section l: That a special election shall be held in and through- out the City ORDINANCE NO. 128 ORDINANCE CALLING SPECIAL BOND ELECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HARRIS i The City Council of the, City of Baytown, Texas, convened in regular_ session at the City Hall within said City, on the 2-5t-h- day of ELctofisbr_ , 1951; with the following members present,, to -wit: J. ORDINANCE CALLING SPECIAL BOND ELECTION • E ' BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Baytown: ® Section l: That a special election shall be held in and through- out the City of Baytown, Texas, on the 20th day of November, 1951, t which election there shall be submitted to the duly quali- ied resident electors _of ,said City who own taxable property within aid City and who have duly rendered the 'same for taxation, for heir action thereupon, the following propositions: PROPOSITION NO. ONE SHALL THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF BAYTOWN BE AUTHOR- IZED_T0.ISSUE THE BONDS OF SAID.CITY -IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF FOUR,HUNDRED EIGHTY.THOUSAND DOLLARS.($480,000.00), MATURING _SERIALLY WITHIN'. Section 5: That notice of said election shall be given by posting a copy of a notice containing a substantial copy of this ordinance at the City Hall and in each of the election precincts of the City not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date on which said election is to be held, and by publication thereof on the same day in each of two successive weeks in a newspaper published in the English language and of general circulation within said City, the first of said publications to be made not later than fourteen (14) ' r - -4- I• IV Irl days prior to the date set for said election.
