NO.,, 1� • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 6 WHICH ORDINANCE PROVIDES FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH BY CONTROLLING OR PREVENTING THE SPREAD OF RATBORNE DIS- EASES AND FURTHER PROVIDES FOR THE RAT PROOFING OF ALL BUSINESS BUILDINGS AND MAINTENANCE THEREOF IN A RAT PROOFED CONDITION; THIS ORDINANCE AMENDS THE SAID ORDINANCE N0. 6 BY CHANGING PARAGRAPH (B) OF SECTION (2) THEREOF TO PROVIDE THAT THE SOLID MASONRY OR CONCRETE CURTAIN WALL SHALL APPLY TO EXISTING BUSINESS BUILDINGS AS WELL AS BUSINESS BUILDINGS HEREAFTER.. CON- STRUCTED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWNs Section 1. THAT Ordinance No. 6 heretofor duly passed by the City Council of the City of Baytown on the 91th day.of February, 1918, be amended to provide that the solid masonry or concrete curtain wall provided for in the first and third paragraphs of Paragraph (B), Section (2) of said ordinance shall apply to any, and all business buildings within the City of Baytown as well as all � 0 business buildings hereafter constructed within said city. Section 2. Said Ordinance No. 6 is hereby confirmed and this ordinance shall in no way affect, alter or change any of the provisions thereof except as herein expressly stated. Section 3.. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage'by the City Council.
