N0. 7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE KNO10 AS "CITY OF PELLY, PLUMBING ORDINANCE" ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`ITY OF PELLY ON THE 24th DAY-OF MAY, 1939 BY SUBSTITUTING THE SUB - SECTION (f) HEREOF FOR SUB-SECTION (f) OF SECTION 1 OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PLUMBING ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: SECTION 1: THAT the ordinance known as "City of Pelly, Plumbing Ordinance" adopted by the city council of the city of Pelly on the 24th day of May, A. D. 1939, is hereby amended as follows: The following Sub - Section (f) is substituted for the Sub - Section (f) of Section I as set out and contained in the ordinance as originally passed, to- wit: ® (f.) The following schedule of fees are hereby established and shall be collected by the Plumbing Inspector pursuant to and under the terms of this ordinance, to -wit: The minimum permit fee shall be Two ($2.00) Dollars; A fee of One ($1.00) Dollar for each of the first 25 plumbing fixtures and Seventy -five (75¢) Cents each for each additional plumbing fixture over 25, on all bath tubs, water closets, lavatories, urinals, sinks, drinking fountain, wash sinks, catch basins, grease traps, acid traps, showers, floor drains, refrigerator drains, or any fixture wherein waste is connected to sanitary sewer, and also all gas fired hot water heaters. ® A fee of $1.50 for inspection of gas connections to and including ten openings plus an additional charge of 10 cents for each additional gas connection; A fee of $1.00 for inspection of water line or lines; A fee of $1.00 for inspection of sewer line or lines; In case it becomes necessary to make reinspection of a plumbing installation, an additional fee of One ($1.00) Dollar shall be charged and collected by the city tax collector from the plumber to whom permit is issued covering such inspection, the amount shall be paid by the person to whom the permit is issued under the terms of this ordinance. SECTION 2: THE foregoing paragraph is hereby substituted for the Sub- Section (f) of Section 1. of the Plumbing Ordinance and the fees stipulated • therein shall be in effect from and after the passage and adoption hereof. -1- INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of a majority of the city council of the city of Baytown, Texas on this the day of , 1948.
