Ordinance No. 13,694ORDINANCE NO. 13,694 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY- TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN AND 90/100 DOLLARS ($762,567.90) TO CROWDERGULF, LLC, FOR DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES PERFORMED AFTER HURRICANE HARVEY; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND THIRTY-TWO AND 751100 DOLLARS ($285,032.75) TO TRUE NORTH EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, LLC, FOR DEBRIS MONITORING SERVICES PERFORMED AFTER HURRICANE HARVEY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. ************************************************************************************* WHEREAS, on June 8, 2017, the City Council authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute up to three (3) no -upfront -cost standby contracts for debris removal and debris monitoring services; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such authorization, the City entered into debris removal and debris monitoring contracts with several entities, including CrowderGulf, LLC, for debris removal services and True North Emergency Management, LLC, for debris monitoring services; and WHEREAS, after Hurricane Harvey, the City authorized CrowderGulf, LLC, and True North Emergency Management, LLC, to assist with the City's cleanup efforts; and WHEREAS, The debris removal and debris monitoring services commenced on September 6, 2017, and concluded on October 30, 2017; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the payment in the amount of SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY- SEVEN AND 90/100 DOLLARS ($762,567.90) to CrowderGulf, LLC, for debris removal services performed after Hurricane Harvey. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the payment in the amount of TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND THIRTY-TWO AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($285,032.75) to True North Emergency Management, LLC, for debris monitoring services performed after Hurricane Harvey. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediatelom and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
