The Board of Directors of the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD)
met in a Special Meeting on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 10:00 A.M., in the Council
Chamber of the Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas with the
following in attendance:

President Wheeler convened the May 23, 2011, Crime Control and Prevention District
(CCPD) Board Special Meeting with a quorum present at 10:00 A.M., all members were
present with the exception of Directors Goolsby, Warford, and Whitehead.
1. REPORTS
a. Canvass the May 14, 2011, CCPD Continuation Election - Secretary.
President Wheeler presented the agenda item to canvass the returns of the Baytown
Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Continuation Election held on May 14,
2011. President Wheeler stated that the votes were as follows:

Secretary Brysch stated that as there are no registered voters in precinct 63 and one
registered voter in precinct 250, which resulted in no votes being cast during the election.
2. PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS
a. Consider Declaring the Results of the May 14, 2011, Continuation Election -
Secretary.
President Wheeler presented the agenda item and stated that Resolution No. 21 declares
the results of the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) continuation
election held on May 14, 2011.
A motion was made by Director Samuel Barker and seconded by Director Daniel
Blackford approving Resolution No. 21. The vote was as follows:
Ayes: Director Samuel Barker, Director Daniel Blackford, Director
Emily Wallace, President Rikki Wheeler
Nays: None
Other: Director Bob Goolsby (absent), Director Chris Warford (absent),
and Director Joe Whitehead (absent)

RESOLUTION NO. 21
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
BAYTOWN CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE CONTINUATION
ELECTION HELD WITHIN THE DISTRICT'S BOUNDARIES ON
THE 14TH DAY OF MAY, 2011, FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING
FOR OR AGAINST THE PROPOSITION OF WHETHER THE
BAYTOWN CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
SHOULD BE CONTINUED FOR FIVE YEARS AND THE CRIME
CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT SALES AND USE TAX
SHOULD BE CONTINUED FOR FIVE YEARS; FINDING THAT
NOTICE OF THE CONTINUATION ELECTION WAS PROPERLY
HELD AND THE RETURNS THEREOF MADE BY THE PROPER
OFFICIALS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE
OF TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.
3. ADJOURN
A motion was made by Director Samuel Barker and seconded by Director Daniel
Blackford adjourning the May 23, 2011, CCPD Board Special Meeting. The vote was as
follows:
Ayes: Director Samuel Barker, Director Daniel Blackford, Director
Emily Wallace, President Rikki Wheeler
Nays: None
Other: Director Bob Goolsby (absent), Director Chris Warlord (absent),
and Director Joe Whitehead (absent)
Approved
With there being no further business to discuss, President Wheeler adjourned the May 23,
2011, Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Board Special Meeting at 10:10
A.M.
