TEXAS , GRANTING THE PETITION OF RNP BAYTOWN PROPERTY, LLC ,
FOR THE ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 2.979 ACRES, LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF W . ARCHER ROAD , APPROXIMATELY 367
FEET WEST OF GARTH ROAD , LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS PART OF AND
OUT OF LOTS 8, BLOCK 22 , HIGHLAND FARMS , T .T . RISTERGEN
SURVEY , ABSTRACT NUMBER 1425 , HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS ;
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN ; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS , Section 43.052 of the Texas Local Government Code provides that the City
may annex property without an annexation plan if the area contains fewer than 100 separate
tracts of land on which one or more residential dwellings are located on each tract or if more than
50 percent of the real property owners in the area proposed for annexation submit a petition for
annexation ; and
WHEREAS , the City of Baytown received a petition filed by RNP Baytown Property,
LLC , for the annexation of approximately 2.979 acres, located on the south side of W. Archer
Road , approximately 367 feet west of Garth Road , legally described as part of and out of Lots 8,
Block 22 , Highland Farms , T .T . Ristergen Survey, Abstract Number 1425 , Harris County,
Texas ; and
WHEREAS , on this date , the City Council heard the petition and the arguments for and
against the annexation and desires to grant the petition; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN ,
TEXAS :
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown , Texas , hereby grants the
petition of RNP Baytown Property, LLC , for the voluntary annexation of approximately 2.979
acres , located on the south side ofW. Archer Road , approximately 367 feet west of Garth Road ,
legally described as part of and out of Lots 8, Block 22 , Highland Farms, T .T . Ristergen Survey,
Abstract Number 1425 , Harris County, Texas. Said petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes .
Section 2 : That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas , hereby authorizes
and directs the Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan for the
property identified in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PAS SED, by the affirmative v of the City Council of the

Ristergen Survey, Abstract Number 1425, Harris County, Texas, and being part of and out of Lot
8, Block 22, HIGHLAND FARMS, a plat of subdivision recorded in Volume 10, Page 47, Map
Records of Harris County, Texas (M.R.H.C.); also being part of and out of the remainder of that
certain called 24.0239 acres, referred to as Tract 1, described in deed to RNP Baytown Property,
LLC, as recorded under County Clerk's File (C.C.F.) Number 20060118668 andre-filed under
20070064213, Official Public Records of Real Property of Harris CoUnty, Texas
(O.P.RR.P.H.C.); the herein described 2.979 acre tract being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows (bearings herein are grid bearings based on the Texas State Plane
Coordinate System (NAD 83), South Central Zone Number 4204; distances are surface distances
based on the U.S. Survey Foot and may be converted to grid by multiplying by a combined scale
factor of0.999870017):
COMMENCING at a 1/2-inch iron rod with cap found marking the intersect ion of the west right-
of-way (R.O.W.) line of Garth Road, a 120-foot public R.O.W. widened under C.C.F . Number
F544756, O.P.R.RP.H.C., with the south RO.W. line of Archer Road, a 120-foot public
RO.W., described in Volume 10, Page 47, M.R.H.C. and widened under C.C.F. Number
F891799, O .P.RRP.H.C.; said iron rod also marking the northeast corner of said 24 .0239 acre
tract and the herein described tract; thence:
South 77°31'00" West, with the south R.O.W. line of said Archer Road, a distance of
366.87 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and northeast corner of the herein described
tract; also being in the existing city limits line of the City of Baytown defined by City
Ordinance Number 13,258, as dedicated under C.C.F . Number RP-2016-434108,
O.P.RR.P.H.C.;
THENCE, South 12°09'00" East, departing said south R.O.W. line, across the aforesaid 24.0239
acre tract and the aforesaid Lot 8 wi th said city limits line defined by City Ordinance Number
