HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, FROM
CHARLES SCOTT FOR LIFT STATION ACCESS AND OTHER MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the
donation of 12.9278 acres of land situated in the William Scott Upper League, Abstract 66,
Harris County, Texas, from Charles Scott for municipal purposes. Such property is more fully
described in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and
purposes.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown.

FIELD NOTES of a 12.9278 acre tract of land situated in the William Scott Upper League,
Abstract 66, Harris County, Texas and being the residue of a called 70 acre tract of land
conveyed by Mrs. Josephine Scoregga to Mrs. Katherine Mary Josephine Bielstein by Deed
dated November 27, 1929 and recorded in Volume 822 at Page 303 of the Deed Records of
Harris County, Texas. This 12.9278 acre tract is more particularly described by the following
metes and bounds, to -wit:
NOTE: BEARINGS ARE LAMBERT GRID BEARINGS AND ALL COORDINATES REFER
TO THE TEXAS STATE PLANE COORDINATE SYSTEM, SOUTH CENTRAL ZONE,
NAD 83. ALL DISTANCES ARE ACTUAL DISTANCES. SCALE FACTOR = 0.9998851.
REFERENCE IS MADE TO THE PLAT OF EVEN DATE ACCOMPANYING THIS METES
AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION.
COMMENCING at a TXDOT disc in concrete found at the intersection of the West right-of-way
line of State Highway No. 146 (right-of-way width varies) and the North right-of-way line of
West Main Street. Said point being the Southeast corner of that certain 1.136 acres (Tract 1)
conveyed by Mrs. N. P. Roberts to Richard Nelson, et ux, by Quitclaim Deed dated March 27,
1984 and recorded under County Clerk's File No. J455139 of the Deed Records of Harris
County, Texas and being the Southeast comer of the residue of the Staner 1.25 acres described in
Volume 1876 at Page 489 of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas.
THENCE: North 73°18'32" West along the South line of said 1.136 acres, the South line of the
residue of said 1.25 acres and the North right-of-way line of said West Main Street for a distance
of 110.30 feet to a'/Z inch iron rod found an angle point in said right-of-way line at the
Southwest corner of said 1.136 acres, the Southwest corner of the residue of said 1.25 acres, the
Southeast corner of the residue of a 0.943 of an acre conveyed by Belva Ann Nelson to Sean C.
Latif by Deed dated October 30, 2009 and recorded under County Clerk's File No. 20090508264
of the Official Public Records of Real Property of Harris County, Texas and the Southeast comer
of that certain 0.8768 of an acre conveyed by Reynolds Marine, Inc. to Robert W. Bolls by Deed
dated October 28, 2002 and recorded under County Clerk's File No. W 197466 of the Official
Public Records of Real Property of Harris County, Texas.
THENCE: North 73°21'55" West along the North right-of-way line of said West Main Street,
the South line of said 0.8768 of an acre and the South line of the residue of said 0.943 of an acre
for a distance of 137.10 feet to a TXDOT disc in concrete found for the Southwest corner of said
0.8768 of an acre, the Southwest corner of the residue of said 0.943 of an acre and the
Southernmost Southeast corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of this tract. Said BEGINNING
POINT has a State Plane Coordinate Value of Y=13,832,657.92 and X=3,240,016.04.

right-of-way line of said West Main Street for a distance of 62.50 feet to a point for an angle
point in said line. Said point has a State Plane Coordinate Value of Y=13,832,660.86 and

THENCE: North 70°06'51" West along the Southernmost South line of this tract and the North
right-of-way line of said West Main Street for a distance of 0.20 feet to a'/z inch iron rod, with
cap (BHA), set for the Southernmost Southwest corner of this tract and the Southeast corner of
that certain called 0.53 acre Tract 6D as shown on Harris County Central Appraisal District map
under account #041-022-001-0176. Said point being an angle point in the North right-of-way
line of said West Main Street (60 feet wide at this point) and has a State Plane Coordinate Value
of Y=13,832,660.93 and X=3,239,953.42.
THENCE: North 199717" East along the Southernmost West line of this tract and the East line
of said called 0.53 of an acre for a distance of 331.20 feet to a''/2 inch iron rod, with cap (BHA),
set for an interior comer of this tract and the Northeast corner of said 0.53 of an acre. Said point
has a State Plane Coordinate Value of Y=13,832,972.87 and X=3,240,064.63.
THENCE: North 70°06'51" West along an interior South line of this tract, the North line of said
0.53 of an acre and the North line of those certain 0.615 of an acre (Tract I) and 0.7691 of an
acre (Tract II) conveyed by Cary Burnley, Guardian, to Richard Nelson, et ux, by Deed dated
September 24, 1982 and recorded under County Clerk's File No. H632872 of the Deed Records

0.7691 of an acre for a distance of 10.08 feet to a point in water for an exterior corner of this
tract and the Northeast corner of that certain 0.671 of an acre tract conveyed by Gloria
Richardson, et vir, to Jose Angel Ramos, et ux, by Deed dated February 24, 1995 and recorded

THENCE: North 70°06'51" West along an interior South line of this tract and the North line of
said 0.671 of an acre for a distance of 90.11 feet to a point in water for an angle point in said
South line, the Northwest corner of said 0.671 of an acre and the Northeast corner of that certain
1.0795 acres conveyed by U. S. Bank National Association, Trustee, to Mario Martinez, et ux, by
Deed dated December 30, 2008 and recorded under County Clerk's File No. 20090014430 of the

THENCE: South 41°55'33" West along an interior line of this tract and the Northernmost West

THENCE: North 69°30'21" West along the Westernmost South line of this tract, the North line
of said 0.6430 of an acre and the Southernmost North line of that certain 29.84203 acres
conveyed by James M. Kilgore to City of Baytown by Deed dated November 3, 1965 and
recorded under County Clerk's File No. C248242 of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas
and at 74.5 feet pass a pinched -top -pipe found in water; at 95.02 feet pass an axle (found
leaning) for the Northwest corner of said 0.6430 of an acre and an exterior corner of said
29.84203 acres; in all, a total distance of 152.92 feet to a %z inch iron rod, with cap (BHA), set
for the Westernmost Southwest corner of this tract and an interior corner of said 29.84203 acres.

(BHA), set in the West right-of-way line of State Highway No. 146 (150 feet wide right-of-way
at this point) for the Northernmost corner of this tract and the Easternmost corner of said 5.9690

THENCE: South 26°11'52" East along the Northernmost East line of this tract and the West
right-of-way line of said State Highway No. 146 for a distance of 68.69 feet to a TXDOT disc
(found bent) for the BEGINNING POINT of a curve to the right, concave Westerly. Said point
has a State Plane Coordinate Value of Y=13,833,861.95 and X=3,240,258.31.
THENCE: Along and around said curve to the right, in a Southeasterly direction, along the
Northernmost East line of this tract and the West right-of-way line of said State Highway No.
146, said curve having a radius of 2789.47 feet, a central angle of 04°00'00" and a chord bearing
and distance of South 22°51'52" East 194.70 feet, for an arc length of 194.74 feet to a'/2 inch
iron rod, with cap (BHA), set for the TERMINATION POINT of said curve, an exterior corner
of this tract and an interior comer of said State Highway No. 146. Said point has a State Plane

THENCE: South 69°08'08" West along an interior line of this tract and an exterior line of said
State Highway No. 146 right-of-way for a distance of 92.99 feet to a TXDOT disc in concrete
found for an interior corner of this tract and an exterior comer of said State Highway No. 146
right-of-way. Said point has a State Plane Coordinate Value of Y=13,833,649.55 and
X=3,240,246.93. Said point being the BEGINNING POINT of a curve to the right, concave
Westerly.
THENCE: Along and around said curve to the right, in a Southeasterly direction, along an
exterior East line of this tract and the West right-of-way line of said State Highway No. 146, said
