Test for linksTopic: Three words: Prepare Ready Time Sometimes we confuse the two as meaning the same when they are not. One is a prerequisite for the other. You have to do one in order for the other one to manifest, show, or become effective. So by Definition: Prepare means to arrange; to train; or make ready . Ready means arranged; equipped; all set, or prepared which basically means you’ve done what’s necessary and can move forward. If you’ve ever heard the following than you know that you don’t have time to prepare and it’s just time to do it. On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! Give me my keys, I’m ready to Go! I’m Done! During my younger track days any time I heard someone say to me On your Mark I was already set to run no matter where I was. Shoes, no shoes, ribbon, no ribbon, gun start, mouth start, hand start. I was ready because I already had in my mind I was gone win that race regardless to who it was. No matter what! I was that confident in my speed ability. When I got my keys to my vehicle I am ready to go. All the preparations for leaving are already done. Think about times when you READY to go. Literally think about it. Are you still putting on make-up, putting clothes, shoes, getting the kids ready, cooking, cleaning, brushing teeth, watching TV, or fill in the blank. When are ready to go all preparations typically are already done. It’s just time to move forward whether that is game time (game face on, no time to practice how to make a layup, jump shot, etc., you have to prove it), Whether it’s eating you prepare your food to cook and eat. Majority of the time we not eating just raw foods (so many fast food restaurants because people just ready to eat), going out, going to work, working, presenting a presentation, saying speech, setting up for an event, having a meeting, etc. A graduation invitation I saw said I’m done. That meant at the minimum, I went through all my prerequisites to move forward. Five or six years of elementary, three years of junior high, and four years of high. Done. Moving on to the next chapter. God always Prepares you before you are Ready to make a decision and it will be at the right Time, if you obey his word. Guaranteed! He purposefully created everything for a reason. His word says in Ecclesiastes 3:1  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Remember the story of Moses (Exodus 1). When told him to go to Pharoah and tell him to let his people go. Moses was already prepared and didn’t know it. He was telling God about his speak not being right, When you are Ready you have already prepared. So those are two separate meanings. Right. Ok. Let’s talk about Not being ready because we wrongly prepared. Because sometimes we think we ready and were not. This reminds me of the scripture: Proverbs 14:12 or 16:25 - 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Sometimes because we don’t fully prepare, we do what we think is right wrong. For instance, we have to study the word of God in its entirety in order to receive the full blessing that he designed. Remember, Sarah and Abraham. When God’s promise to Abraham when he told him in Genesis Chapter 12:2-3 - 2) I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; 3) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." 17:15-16 – 15) God also said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. 16) I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her." But because both Abraham and Sarah were old in age, they couldn’t physically see that happening and further resulted to what they thought was right wrong. How So? Sarah because of her age and the time she thought the baby should come, brought her great idea for her husband to make that baby with her handmaid but got mad afterwards and wanted the baby and her handmaid gone. Abraham thought that God was going to bless the baby from the handmaid (Ishmael) as the baby that was Sarah was supposed to have (Isaac). But now this, God watches over HIS word to perform it. God always keeps his promise and does exactly what he says he’s going to do. It’s crucial that we read and study the Word of God for our own benefit. You can’t rely on someone else’s belief, feelings, way of thinking, results, created plans, or blessings but what’s for you is for you and you will only know that by having your own personal relationship with him. What works for me may be right for me, but may not work or may be wrong for you. Our results may or may not be the same but God is all knowing and is the only creator that knows what’s best for each individual person. Sometimes we read or hear scriptures or parts from a scripture then make a decision based on that hearing making that right decision wrong. One of my male childhood friends told me one time that God will give you the desire of your heart. But we were talking about relationships. And he was talking about a particular woman he was seeking to have and he was going particularly on his looks and physical stature. And at that time he was developing his relationship with God. So I’m no bible scholar and at that time didn’t know many scriptures by heart. But I’m so amazed to date at how the Holy Spirit works and always alert even when you really not, because I knew that it was another part to that scripture and added that part to right after he quoted that to me. At that time, we were really just talking about developing our relationships so I wasn’t fully aware then of what I actually retained from reading the word. Read the scripture in its entirety and the chapters to go along with as well as the cross references. It makes the difference in how you understand the word of God. People use quotes daily and make right decisions wrong based on such. Elaborate on waiting on others when you already READY and there not! So the question is Are you Prepared or Are you Ready for that Time? Will you be prepared or will you be ready when Jesus returns?
