CC Resolution No. 2376RESOLUTION NO. 2376 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN FOR THE ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 206.35 ACRES SITUATED IN THE GEORGE ELLIS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 21, FOR MULTIPLE SITES LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF NORTH MAIN, FROM THE EAST FREEWAY TO WALLISVILLE ROAD, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. *********************************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** WHEREAS, Section 43.065 of the Texas Local Government Code provides that before the publication of the notice of the first public hearing, the City Council shall direct the City's Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of full municipal services to the area to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the properties subject to this proposed annexation are within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction along North Main Street north of the East Freeway; and WHEREAS, because the proposed annexation contains less than 100 separate tracts of land on which one or more residential dwellings are located on each tract, the proposed annexation is not required to be a part of the City's annexation plan; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and directs the City's Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of full municipal services to the area to be annexed as described hereinabove and which is more particularly depicted in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intent and purposes. Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from City Council of the City of Baytown.
