A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
JUSTICE FOR THE EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE
GRANT ("JAG") PROGRAM, FY 2014 LOCAL SOLICITATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF TWENTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX AND
NO/100 DOLLARS ($20,966.00); DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE; AUTHORIZING THE REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT
OR AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT MAY RESULT THEREFROM;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to
make application to the U.S. Department of Justice for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice
Assistance Grant ("JAG") Program, FY 2014 Local Solicitation in the amount of TWENTY
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX AND NO/ 100 DOLLARS ($20,966.00).
Section 2: That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized
representative for all purposes under the grant.
Section 3: That the City Manager is hereby authorized to accept or affirm any grant
award that may result from this application.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately
the City Council of the City of Baytown.
