A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA
WATER AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONSTRUCTION
WORK ORDER FOR THE MAN -WAY VAULT AT I-10 AND THOMPSON ROAD
TO TEAMWORK CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC., SUBJECT TO THE
APPROVAL OF THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF NINETY -ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIFTY -THREE AND
40/100 DOLLARS ($91,653.40); MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED
THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER
AUTHORITY:
Section 1: That subject to the approval of the cooperative purchasing agreement by the City
Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority
hereby authorizes the issuance of a construction work order for the man -way vault at I -10 and Thompson
Road to Teamwork Construction Services, Inc., pursuant to the City of Baytown's Annual Concrete Work
Contract.
Section 2: That subject to the approval by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas,
of the agreement referenced in Section 1 hereof, the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water
Authority hereby authorizes the payment in the amount of NINETY -ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED
FIFTY -THREE AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($91,653.40) to Teamwork Construction Services, Inc.,
consistent with the work order.
Section 3: That the General Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any
change order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO /100
DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less, provided that the original contract price may not be increased by more
than ten percent (10 %) or decreased by more than ten percent (10 %) without the consent of the contractor
to such decrease.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the Board of Directors of the
