A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING CHARLES EUGENE MURRELL, JOSEPH FALLIN, DAVID START,
JR., AND LORETTA WHITE TO THE BAYTOWN CRIME CONTROL AND
PREVENTION DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of a
Boards of Director to the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District (District); NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints four (4)
members to the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District as follows:
A. Charles Eugene Murrell is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a
term expiring on August 31, 2027;
B. Joseph Fallin is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term expiring
on August 31, 2028;
C. David Start, Jr. is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2028; and
D. Loretta White is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2028.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 27th day of August, 2026.
