AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ADDING
APPROXIMATELY 278.021 ACRES, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS TRACTS 6-8, ABSTRACT
NO. 21, GEORGE ELLIS SURVEY, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS TO DISTRICT NO. 4;
REPEALING; ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; CONTAINING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Section 17(7) of the Charter of the City of Baytown provides that the City Council shall
redistrict the City if the growth of the City justifies; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to include the newly -annexed territory described herein in a Council District;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: Council District No. 4 is hereby redistricted by the addition of that property which is
described in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby
repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency, and in all other
respects, this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered
by this ordinance.
Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances shall for any reason be held
unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this
ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances, and to this end, all provisions of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days from its passage by the City
Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be
published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after passage of this
ordinance.

A METES & BOUNDS description of a certain 86.268 acre tract of land situated In the George Ellis Survey,
Abstract No. 21 in Harris County, Texas, being all of the called 28.865 and 57.486 acre tracts described
in the deed to Michael W. Chatham, recorded under Clerk's File Number RP-2021-251322 of the
Harris County Official Public Records of Real Property; said 86.268 acre tract being more particularly
described as follows with all bearings being based on the Texas Coordinate System, South Central
Zone, NAD 83;
BEGINNING at a 1/2-inch iron rod with Chandler plastic cap found at the northeast corner of said
28.865 acres, common with the southeast corner of a called 5.000 acre tract of land described in the
deed to Man K. Wang, Jian Ming Guan and David Ho, recorded under Clerk's File Number
20070437059 of the Harris County Official Public Records of Real Property and being in the westerly
line of Lot 3, Block 19 of the Elena Fruit & Cotton Farms plat, recorded in Volume 7, Page 48 of the
Harris County Map Records;
THENCE, South 12 Degrees 22 Minutes 14 Seconds East, with the easterly line of said 28.865 acres,
common with the westerly lines of Lots 3 and 2, Block 19 of said Elena Fruit & Cotton Farms plat, a
distance of 528.75 feet to a 5/8-inch iron rod found at the southeast corner of said 28.865 acres,

bearing of North 89 Degrees 47 Minutes 12 Seconds West, a chord length of 651.02 feet and
an arc length of 655.13 feet, to a found 5/8-Inch iron rod with cap stamped Landtech;
THENCE, South 79 Degrees 05 Minutes 39 Seconds West, continuing with said common line, a
distance of 116.41 feet to a 3/4-inch iron rod (with cap stamped "Jones I Carter property corner") set
at the southwest corner of said S7.486 acres, common with the northwest corner of said 15.358 acres
and being in the easterly right-of-way line of Garth Road (right-of-way varies);
