A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
NOMINATING A CANDIDATE TO FILL THE VACANCY FOR A POSITION ON
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CHAMBERS COUNTY APPRAISAL
DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown has the right and responsibility to nominate one candidate to fill
a vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Chambers County Appraisal District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, desires to exercise its right to
nominate a candidate to fill such vacancy on said board of directors; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby nominates the following as a
candidate to fill the vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Chambers County Appraisal District:
Josh Kubik
Section 2: That the Mayor of the City of Baytown be and is hereby authorized and directed to
deliver or cause to be delivered a certified copy of this Resolution to the Chief Appraiser of the Chambers
County Appraisal District on or before 14" day of August, 2026.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 13th day of August, 2026.
