HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution No. 3,108 (Item 3.c.)RESOLUTION NO. 3108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE LEGISLATIVE AD -HOC COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE; MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 2: That the City of Baytown City Council hereby establishes the Legislative Ad -Hoc Committee (the "Committee") as follows: a. Created; composition. The Committee shall consist of three (3) members of the City Council. b. Purpose. The purpose of the Committee shall be to proofread the Legislative Program and provide legislative interpretation and alignment. c. Appointments; terms of office. Members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve until new members are appointed by the Mayor or the Committee is dissolved by action of the City Council. d. Meetings. The Committee shall meet on an as needed basis. Section 3: That the following Councilmembers are hereby appointed to serve as members of the Committee: a. Laura Alvarado, Councilmember District 1; b. Sarah Graham, Councilmember District 2; and c. Kenrick Griffith, Councilmember District 3. Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
