A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA
WATER AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL MANAGER TO MAKE AN
APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD FOR A WATER
SUPPLY AND INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT RELATED TO THE ALTERNATE
WATER SOURCE FEASIBILITY STUDY; DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE; AUTHORIZING THE REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT OR
AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT MAY RESULT THEREFROM; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER
AUTHORITY:
Section 1: That the General Manager of the Baytown Area Water Authority is hereby
authorized to submit a grant application to the Texas Water Development Board for a Water Supply and
Infrastructure Grant related to the Alternate Water Source Feasibility Study.
Section 2: That the General Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative
for all purposes under the grant.
Section 3: That the General Manager is hereby authorized to accept or affirm any grant award
that may result from the above application.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the Board of Directors of the
Baytown Area Water Authority this the 15`I' day of July, 2026.
