A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER
AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A PETITION REQUESTING THE
VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY SIXTY (60) ACRES OF LAND,
OWNED BY THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER AUTHORITY AND LOCATED AT 5359 EAST
GRAND PARKWAY SOUTH, CHAMBERS COUNTY, TEXAS, INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN; MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED
THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER
AUTHORITY:
Section 1: That the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority hereby approves and
authorizes the submission of a petition requesting the voluntary annexation of approximately sixty (60) acres of land,
owned by the Baytown Area Water Authority and located at 5359 East Grand Parkway South, Chambers County,
Texas, into the corporate limits of the City of Baytown. Such petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: That the President of the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority is hereby
directed to execute the petition and submit it to the City of Baytown to begin the annexation process.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the Board of
Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affinnative vote of the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area
