A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROVIDER
CONTRACT FOR GENERAL LAND OFFICE (GLO) CONTRACT 24-065-089- E765;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown, Texas has a contract through the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program through the General Land Office of the State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the contract requires implementation by professionals experienced in completion of
federally funded projects; and
WHEREAS, in order to identify qualified and responsive providers for these services, a Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) process for engineering services has been completed in accordance with Texas CDBG
requirements; and
WHEREAS the proposals received by the due date have been reviewed to determine the most qualified
and responsive providers for the professional service;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That DCCM North America, LLC. be awarded a contract to provide engineering
services for the 2024 CDBG MIT -MOD 24-065-089-E765.
Section 2: That any and all contracts or commitments made with the above -named services
providers are dependent on the successful negotiation of a contract with the service provider.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
