A RESOLUTION OF THE BAYTOWN FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT, SETTING A DATE, TIME
AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR
2026-2027 BUDGET; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN FIRE
CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT:
Section 1: On the 16th day of June, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council
Chambers of the City of Baytown,2401 Market Street,Baytown,Texas,the Baytown Fire Control,
Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District (FCPEMSD) will hold a public hearing
giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed fiscal year 2025-2026
budget.
Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown and Secretary of the FCPEMSD is
hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in the
newspaper having general circulation in the City of Baytown and the Baytown Fire Control,
Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District not less than ten (10) days prior to the date
of the public hearing.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the Board of Directors of the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services
District.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the Board of Directors of
the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District this the 19th day
of May, 2026.
