A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
CONFIRMING THE CITY MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF JAMIE PRUITT AS AN
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Section 20 of the Charter of the City of Baytown, Texas provides that the appointment
of department heads within the City be subject to the approval of the City Council of the City of Baytown;
WHEREAS, the City Manager has appointed Jamie Pruitt as an Assistant City Manager of the
City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown now desires to approve the City Manager's
appointment of Jamie Pruitt as an Assistant City Manager of the City of Baytown; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby confirms the City
Manager's appointment of Jamie Pruitt as an Assistant City Manager of the City of Baytown.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 11th day of June, 2026.
