AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE BAYTOWN FIRE CONTROL,
PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT'S
FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES TO
TRANSFER FUNDS FROM MOTOR VEHICLES (32007020-56800) TO
MINOR TOOLS & EQUIPMENT SUPPLIES (32007020-52005) IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($50,000.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND
SUPPLIES FOR THE NEW MEDIC UNIT, MEDIC 1; MAKING OTHER
REPRESENTATIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby approves changes in
the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District's Fiscal Year
2024-2025 budget for municipal purposes to transfer FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($50,000.00) from Motor Vehicles (32007020-56800) to Minor Tools & Equipment
Supplies(32007020-52005) for the purchase of medical equipment and supplies for the new medic
unit, Medic 1.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of Baytown this the 14th day of May, 2026.
