A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
SUSPENDING ARTICLE 4 "TYPES OF MEETINGS"; SECTION 4.1 "REGULAR
MEETINGS" OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN CITY COUNCIL RULES OF
PROCEDURE AND CANCELING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULED
FOR MARCH 26, 2026; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, The City of Baytown City Council Rules of Procedure Article 4 "Types of Meetings";
Section 4.1 "Regular Meetings" provides that, "unless otherwise established by the City Council, the
Council shall hold its regular meetings in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2401 Market Street,
Baytown, Texas, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays for the months of
March through October"; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Baytown desires to cancel the Regular Meeting
currently scheduled for March 26, 2026; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby suspends the City Council
Rules of Procedure Article 4 "Types of Meetings"; Section 4.1 "Regular Meetings" and cancels the
Regular Meeting currently scheduled for March 26, 2026.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
