A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE CITY OF BAYTOWN'S REPRESENTATIVES
AND ALTERNATES TO THE TRANSPORTATION POLICY COUNCIL AND
THE TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE HOUSTON-
GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL FOR THE YEAR 2026; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates Mayor
Charles Johnson as the City of Baytown's representative to the Transportation Policy Council of the
Houston -Galveston Area Council for the year 2026.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates Kenrick
Griffith as the City of Baytown's alternate representative to the Transportation Policy Council of the
Houston -Galveston Area Council for the year 2026.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates Assistant
City Manager Brant Gary as the City of Baytown's representative to the Technical Advisory
Committee of the Houston -Galveston Area Council for the year 2026.
Section 4: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates Planning and
Development Services Director Martin Scribner as the City of Baytown's alternate representative to
the Technical Advisory Committee of the Houston -Galveston Area Council for the year 2026.
Section 5: The term of these representatives shall be concurrent with their terms as
members of the City Council.
Section 6: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of Baytown this the 11 th day of December, 2025.
