A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR CONTRACTUAL AND
FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAMS: DISASTER RECOVERY (DR),
DISASTER MITIGATION (MIT) AND DISASTER RECOVER REALLOCATION
PROGRAM (DRRP), TEXAS GENERAL LAND OFFICE (GLO), CONTRACT
NUMBERS 20-065-113-C310, 22-082-020-D258, 22-085-012-D240 AND 24-065-089-
E765.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint persons to execute contractual and financial documents from
the Texas General Land Office, and;
WHEREAS, an original signed copy of the Depository/Authorized Signatories Designation Form
is to be submitted with a copy of this Resolution, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown, Texas acknowledges that in the event that an authorized
signatory of the City changes, the City Manager must provide the Texas General Land Office with a revised
Depository/Authorized Signatories Designation Form; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: The City of Baytown, Texas has received funding from the Texas General Land
Office's Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery, Disaster Mitigation and Disaster
Recovery Reallocation Programs for multiple projects including three Drainage Improvement projects at
Julie Ann Villa/Lincoln Cedars (-C310); Texas Avenue (-D258); West Baytown (-E765) as well as
Improvements at the East District Wastewater Treatment Plant (-D240), and;
Section2: The City Manager and Assistant City Manager are authorized to execute contractual
documents between the Texas General Land Office and the City of Baytown, Texas for each of the above -
named Programs, Texas General Land Office, Contract Numbers 20-065-113-C310, 22-082-020-D258, 22-
085-012-13240 and 22-065-089-E765.
Section 3: The Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance are authorized to execute
the financial documents required for requesting funds approved for each of the above -named Programs:
DR, MIT, DRRP, Texas General Land Office, Contract Numbers 20-065-113-C310, 22-082-020-D258, 22-
085-012-D240 and 22-065-089-E765.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
