AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TOP SHELF ENTERTAINMENT FOR
MUSICAL AND EMCEE PERFORMANCES FOR THE CITY OF BAYTOWN'S
JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION IN FY2026 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($60,000.00); AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and directs
the City Manager to execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, a professional services agreement with Top
Shelf Entertainment for musical and emcee performances for the City of Baytown's Juneteenth Celebration
in FY2026.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby authorizes a payment not to
exceed the total of SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($60,000.00) to Top Shelf Entertainment as described
in Section 1.
Section 3: That the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve a decrease or
an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
